Super Wild Card Weekend- Seattle at San Francisco

We open Super Wild Card Weekend with an NFC West tilt between the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers. Brock Purdy leads San Fran to be undefeated in his starts and taking over during the Miami game. Seattle stumbled into the playoffs after a week 18 win against Los Angeles and Green Bay lost to Detroit sending the Seahawks to Santa Clara. The 49ers are favoured by 9.5 and that is not a number that concerns me in most circumstances but a third matchup this year and an 8-point game on Thursday Night Football. I will take San Francisco to win but Seattle to cover the spread and keep the game close.

Top 10 QBs after Week 17

1. Patrick Mahomes 328 and 3 touchdowns from Mahomes against Denver while barely holding on. 2.  Josh Allen Obviously no game for Allen so just like a bye week no movement 3. Jalen Hurts The Eagles lost to New Orleans led by Gardner Minshew. I think this adds to Hurts' value. 4. Joe Burrow No game for Burrow he remains. 5. Justin Herbert One of the most efficient Justin Herbert games I've ever seen. Quietly a comfortable playoff team.  6. Trevor Lawrence TLaw beat up on Houston still setting up a win-and-in-scenario with Tennessee next week. 7. Dak Prescott They beat Tennessee on Thursday but didn't look great against a team resting for next week. 8. Geno Smith Ended the Jets season which is another feather in the cap of Geno Smith 9. Daniel Jones Destroyed the Colts to clinch a playoff spot and probably rest for next week against Philly. 10. Brock Purdy Never thought Mr.Irrelevant would be here but here's Brock. Brady clinched a division title and Rodgers put himself i...

Pray for Damar Hamlin

Originally I had picked this game but sometimes there is something bigger than sports. Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field and had to be saved on the field and is now in stable condition. The NFL has yet to make a decision on this game moving forward but canceling it is the only option. The priority is Damar's health and sending all of our thoughts and prayers. Logistically the NFL can't continue this game but the number 1 priority is Damar Hamlin.

Thursday Night Football Week 17- Dallas at Tennessee

Tonight on the Thursday Night Football Season Finale the Dallas Cowboys are visiting the Tennessee Titans with half the implications it should have. The Titans are in a scenario that regardless of this game or Jacksonville's game Sunday against the Texans next week is a win and in for the AFC South. It seems like the Titans starters will be rested for the trip to Jacksonville next week. Tennessee is 9.5 point-home underdogs with little to play for. While Dallas is still in the scenario to win the NFC East and possibly the #1 seed. I will take Dallas to win but the Titans to cover. A big run game from Dallas to end the Amazon season. Record Winners: 153-84-2 Spread: 137-103

Top 10 QBs after Week 16

1. Patrick Mahomes Hurts' injury plus a Mahomes win against Seattle bumps Pat back up to 1. 2.  Josh Allen Another casuality to the Jalen Hurts injury but the Bills seem to be getting on a roll at the right time. 3. Jalen Hurts He's injured but the Eagles loss to the Cowboys shows how valuable he is to the offense. 4. Joe Burrow A messy game against the Patriots but they still got the W. Rolling into playoffs strong. 5. Justin Herbert Clinched a playoff spot against a bad Indianapolis team. In the right matchup Herbert is dangerous. 6. Trevor Lawrence Won on Thursday night and watched the #2 pick behind him get benched at halftime. 7. Dak Prescott Beat the Eagles to maintain the chance to win the NFC East. 8. Kirk Cousins Beat the Giants on a last second field goal. The hesitancy on Minnesota makes sense. 9. Geno Smith Geno might burn his meal for Seattle but they lost to the Chiefs what do you expect. 10. Daniel Jones Barely losing to the Vikings peaked my Giants interest. I h...
