Last game Saints win Falcons cover in a hopefully good game in Atlanta.

The afternoon matchup of the slate is perhaps the most intriguing unless the Falcons turn the Saints game into a shootout. The Bills are coming off a big win against Denver and Dallas is coming off a close loss to the Patriots. The Cowboys are favored by 6.5 in big D and I think this will be a good game. I like the Cowboys win and the Bills to keep it close and cover the spread. Both defenses should be able to keep the game low scoring and close. Dak vs Josh Allen should be interesting to see.

The first game on this thanksgiving slate is the Chicago Bears visiting the Detroit Lions. These two teams are kinda out of the race barring a late run by a capable Bears team but it seems unlikely. So we get to watch Mitch Trubisky face off against Matt Stafford... oh wait he is presumably done for the year. So Trubisky faces Jeff Driskel... no, he's hurt too. Alright, who's next Jon Kitna? Shaun Hill? Joey Harrington? No, it is David Blough, a rookie out of Purdue. The line has been rising since the revelation but I have it as the Bears favored by 2.5 which is quite favorable. I'm going to take the Bears to win and cover due to the fact that I think that defense is going to be all over Blough in his first NFL start. My Record Straight: 111-63-1 Spread: 107-69

Tonight, Lamar Jackson leads the dominant Baltimore Ravens against Aaron Donald and the reeling Los Angeles Rams. The Ravens are sitting at 8-2 and have a two-game lead in their division and are cruising towards the playoffs and a bye most likely. While the Rams are two games behind the Vikings for the 6 seed and don't seem to be in any position to make a run. On paper, this would be a matchup comparable to the Rams-Chiefs matchup last year with two electrifying offenses. Now it is a debate about if Lamar can blow them out early. The Ravens are walking into LA favored by 3.5 and I think they win and cover but not with ease. The Rams need to win to keep any small hopes they have left and it's a primetime game so anything can happen. My Record Straight: 110-63-1 Spread- 106-69

Tonight the Colts visit the Texans in a matchup that will decide the leader of the AFC South heading into the stretch run of the season. The Colts are coming off a big win against the Jaguars and will look to continue this stretch as the Ewing theory team after losing Andrew Luck. Which now doesn't look like a big deal now with the emergence of Jacoby Brissett. The Texans are coming off a blowout loss against the Ravens who look like the elite of the elite. After the game, Deshaun Watson exchanged jerseys with Lamar Jackson in which they also exchanged compliments calling each other "GOAT" and "MVP". The Texans are favored by 3.5 heading into this game and this should be an exciting game. I like the Texans to win in a comeback spot but I also like the Colts to cover and keep it close. Back for another week and hopefully I can get off to a better start this week with a divisional matchup between Pittsburgh visiting Cleveland in a decent game for a Thursday night tilt. Pittsburgh is coming off a big win versus the struggling Los Angeles Rams and the Browns nearly edged out a win against Buffalo. Cleveland is favored by 2.5 for the second straight week and the second straight week that I don't get it. The Browns beat the Bills narrowly at home who were undefeated on the road to this point. This has all the makings of a crucial game for both team's chances. I like the Steelers to win and cover.

So I suck at picking football games and I'm very close to banning myself from picking games the rest of the year but I will definitely be watching this great NFC West showdown between the Seahawks and 49ers. I've got the Niners winning but the Seahawks covering in a close one.

Tonight the Chargers and the Raiders face off in Oakland in a matchup of two teams that are moving around. The Chargers are favored by 1.5 in Oakland and I like them to win and cover in this game. This will be a good game in determining who will actually be a playoff contender. This will be a really good game and even better jersey matchup.

So this week was not good at all pick wise but let's move forward and I'm taking the Cowboys to win and cover in New York
