Although most of us would have wanted to see the undefeated Suns in this spot it still gives us an intriguing matchup of two teams who have already played a meaningful game while in Orlando. Back on July 31st, the Grizzlies and Trail Blazers played to thrilling overtime that was dominated by the Blazers finishing in a 140 to 135 final score. Which seems to set the table for the remaining seeding games for both of these teams. The Blazers rattled off a 6-2 record in their 8 seeding games leading them to the 8 seed and an advantage over this play-in series. The Grizzlies started off 0-4 and finished an abysmal 2-6 and lost the 8 seed but still won the right to the 9 seed with a final day win over the Bucks who were without Giannis due to suspension. These teams had opposite records and now sit in the opposite position then they were entering Orlando. Portland is favored by 6 in the first of possibly two games and I like the Blazers to take this one but the Grizzlies to keep it close...
