Monday Night Football Week 8- Cincinnati at Cleveland

Tonight on a spooky edition of Monday Night Football is a battle of the orange teams as the Cincinnati Bengals visit the Cleveland Browns. This AFC North battle has two teams that aren't as far apart as we expected. I'm going to take the Bengals to win but the Browns to cover the 3.5 in a tight divisional matchup. Record Winners: 77-44-1 Spread: 71-51

Monday Morning Thoughts Week 8

Denver 21 Jacksonville 17 Broncos Country... Let's Ride? Maybe??  Carolina 34 Atlanta 37 F/OT Carolina didn't deserve to lose on a penalty that really wasn't a penalty after that incredible hail mary. Chicago 29 Dallas 49 That Dallas offense is as very potent but Justin Fields hung around more than I thought. New England 22 NY Jets 17 I don't know what to think of either of these teams but hindsight is 20/20 and picking Zach Wilson against Belichick was not the best idea. Pittsburgh 13 Philadelphia 35 AJ Brown had three first-half touchdowns and the Steelers could never recover. Miami 31 Detroit 27 Is the Dolphins' season just going to be double-digit second-half comebacks? Arizona 26 Minnesota 34 It's amazing how amazing Deandre Hopkins can look despite the turmoil in Arizona. Good on Minnesota they just keep winning Las Vegas 0 New Orleans 24 This is still a weird one to me. Might be the oddest game of the year because the Raiders look like they're done wi...

Thursday Night Football Week 8- Baltimore at Tampa Bay

Tonight on Thursday Night Football Tom Brady and his Tampa Bay Bucs is hosting Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. Tampa is coming off an embarrassing 21-3 defeat to a Carolina Panthers team that fired their head and traded their best player over the past few weeks. While Baltimore is coming off a narrow win over divisional rival Cleveland. Baltimore is favoured by 1.5 which is shocking and I can't imagine this has happened too often in Tom Brady's tenure as a Buc. I think this Tampa team looks in shambles and the Ravens are consistent and a safe team to trust during the regular season. I will take Baltimore to win and cover this game on the road. Record Winners- 66-41-1 Spread- 61-47

Top 10 QBs after Week 7

 1. Patrick Mahomes  Torched the 49ers. 423 yards 3 touchdowns don't ever doubt that Mahomes magic 2. Josh Allen Bye week for Josh just means a slight step back to 2 3. Jalen Hurts Bye week for Hurts as well and he stays put at 3 4. Lamar Jackson 179 total yards which felt low but he got the W 5. Joe Burrow The huge first half for Burrow propelled the Bengals over the Falcons. Concerned about Chase's injury 6. Geno Smith Almost squeaked into the top 5 but Geno Smith is the man in Seattle. Could be a division winner 7. Kirk Cousins A bye week somehow moves Kirk up 8. Justin Herbert Got outplayed by Geno Smith and it didn't feel that close. Obviously, just one week but Herbert will have to grind the Chargers into the playoffs 9. Tua Tagovailoa Tua's back and he's only going to have more time to get reacclimated to this explosive offence  10. Dak Prescott Dak is also back and Dallas has kept their strong gameplan in tact. This was more the inefficiency of Rodgers and B...

Monday Night Football Week 7- Chicago at New England

Tonight on Monday Night Football Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears visit Bill Bellicheck and the New England Patriots. That joke aside New England comes into this game with a QB controversy as Mac Jones is returning from injury while Bailey Zappe might've won the hearts of Pats fans. With the QB position in question for New England, I still trust these Patriots more than the Bears. New England is favoured by 7.5 and I think they win and cover this game. Record Winners: 60-40-1 Spread: 61-46

Monday Morning Thoughts Week 7

Atlanta 17 Cincinnati 35 Chase and Joey B show off once again. Hopefully, that injury isn't too serious. The Falcons are no longer undefeated against the spread  Indianapolis 10 Tennessee 19 The losing team scored the only touchdown of the game. Mike Vrabel is a genius Green Bay 21 Washington 23 Rodgers had every chance to win this game. Good on Taylor Heinecke he is so much fun to watch Tampa Bay 3 Carolina 21 I hit the panic button last week for Tampa, I don't even know what to do now. A new head coach boost comes in week 2 for the Panthers NY Giants 23 Jacksonville 17 Doug Pedersen played it too aggressively and it cost his team the game. The Giants know how to win games Cleveland 20 Baltimore 23 Nothing spectacular from Baltimore. Brissett only had three plays to try to mount the comeback  Detroit 6 Dallas 24 Dallas's Defense Dominates. Dak's back. NY Jets 16 Denver 9 Breece Hall getting injured is such a big blow to the Jets but they're also 5-2 Houston 20 Las ...

Thursday Night Football Week 7- New Orleans at Arizona

This week on Thursday Night Football it's something to be excited for. Alvin Kamara and the New Orleans Saints visit the returning Deandre Hopkins and the Arizona Cardinals. This should be a rejuvenating return for Arizona as Kyler Murray gets his number 1 weapon back. Arizona is favoured by 1.5 at home and I'm going to trust the home squad to win and cover the spread. Hopefully, Al and Kirk have something to enjoy. Record Winners: 57-36-1 Spread: 54-40

Top 10 QBs after Week 6

 1. Josh Allen Won the duel with Mahomes so the crown Josh shall wear the crown 2. Patrick Mahomes Lost to Allen but these guys are easily the top 2 3. Jalen Hurts Another week another win for Jalen Hurts he is in such control of this Eagles' offence  4. Lamar Jackson Lost to the Giants but this list isn't all about the wins and losses. I'm giving Lamar the benefit of the doubt 5. Joe Burrow Beat the Saints in the Bayou and walked into the stadium wearing Ja'marr Chase's jersey. Big Team Guy 6. Justin Herbert They beat the Broncos in OT but Herbert threw 57 passes and a rating of 66.3. It's not all about numbers but those are concerning 7. Geno Smith HE DID IT. Sign me up with Geno Smith. He didn't write back to the people that wrote him off and this is officially the most fun story in football 8. Kirk Cousins Outside of a primetime loss to Philadelphia (Looking back it makes too much sense), Kirk has done everything he's had to for a 1 loss Vikings team...

Monday Night Football Week 6- Denver vs LA Chargers

Tonight on Monday Night Football Russell Wilson is leading his Denver Broncos into SOFI Stadium to face Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers. Denver is coming off the embarrassing Thursday Night performance against the Indianapolis Colts. The Chargers are favoured by 5.5 at "home" as there might be some orange crush fans from Denver making the trip. I think this Broncos season is pretty close to over already so I will take Los Angeles to win and cover, Record Winners: 56-36-1 Spread: 54-39

Monday Morning Thoughts Week 6

San Francisco 14 Atlanta 28 All the Falcons do is cover and I guess contend for the division New England 38 Cleveland 15 It's very obvious but we could be looking at Brady/Bledsoe 2.0. Otherwise, this is a scrappy Pats team NY Jets 27 Green Bay 10 In the battle of big green teams, the Jets' defence was the second straight New York team to stifle Rodgers Jacksonville 27 Indianapolis 34 Matt Ryan with ice in his veins to sink the Jags even a little bit more Minnesota 24 Miami 16 The Vikings are 5-1 and we're probably all thinking about when Miami will get Tua back Cincinnati 30 New Orleans 26 Joey B and Chase are an elite duo especially back in the bayou Baltimore 20 NY Giants 24 Wink Martindale got his revenge on the Ravens and managed to slow down Lamar Tampa Bay 18 Pittsburgh 20 Where is the panic button I will officially smash it? I know they place in the NFC South but this team is looking rough Carolina 10 LA Rams 24 Does the new head coach bump happen in two weeks now? ...

Week 6 NFL Sunday Picks

At least there were two touchdowns on Thursday. Poor Al we deserve a Michaels/Collingsworth reunion. San Francisco at Atlanta +5.5 49ers win Falcons cover New England at Cleveland -2.5 Browns win and cover NY Jets at Green Bay -6.5 Packers win Jets cover Jacksonville at Indianapolis -1.5 Jags win and cover Minnesota at Miami +2.5 Vikings win and cover Cincinnati at New Orleans +1.5 Bengals win and cover Baltimore at NY Giants +4.5 Ravens win Giants cover Tampa Bay at Pittsburgh +7.5 Bucs win and cover Carolina at LA Rams -10.5 Rams win Panthers cover Arizona at Seattle +2.5 Cardinals win Seahawks cover Buffalo at Kansas City +2.5 Bills win Chiefs cover Dallas at Philadelphia -4.5 Eagles win Cowboys cover Record Winners: 51-29-1 Spread: 48-33

Thursday Night Football Week 6- Washington at Chicago

Last week I couldn't lie the Thursday Night Game looked awful and it was worse than expected. That being said the Washington Commanders are visiting the Chicago Bears in a Thursday Night tilt. I don't know what to expect from either of these teams but I'm going to lean towards not offence. The Bears are favoured by 0.5 which is hilarious. I guess it shouldn't be a pick 'em but I will take Washington and Carson Wentz to win and cover half a point. Record Winners: 50-29-1 Spread: 47-33

Top 10 QBs after Week 5

1. Patrick Mahomes A 17-point comeback on Monday Night Football. This guy is built differently 2. Josh Allen Dominated the Steelers so he doesn't move up or down. 3. Jalen Hurts The two rushing touchdowns and holding off Kyler in their "trap game" 4. Lamar Jackson Was in a Sunday Night duel with Joe Cool and came out on top. Lamar knows how to win 5. Justin Herbert Barely squeaked one out against the Browns but J Herbo put up strong numbers 6. Tom Brady It wasn't roughing the passer but Brady still won the game. NFC South might be closer 7. Joe Burrow Lost against Lamar which is no shame. I'm curious to see if this will be a perennial second-half-of-the-year team in Cincinnati 8. Aaron Rodgers The Giants' defence stifled Rodgers in a late-game situation and he's creeping down this list 9. Kyler Murray Lost to Hurts and the Eagles but I'm still waiting for another NFC West QB to step into this top 10 10. Derek Carr Kyler and Carr might be placeholders b...

Monday Night Football Week 5- Las Vegas at Kansas City

Tonight on Monday Night Football the Las Vegas Raiders are visiting the Kansas City Chiefs at GEHA Field. This is a great divisional matchup and going back to last year an extra spicy rivalry. The Raiders won in Kansas City and reportedly did laps on their bus around the stadium to celebrate. The Chiefs proceeded to put up a statement win in Las Vegas in their second matchup. The Chiefs are favoured by 7.5 at home and I think that's too many points for this kind of game. I'll take Kansas City to win but Las Vegas to cover the spread in a close divisional matchup. Record Winners- 49-29-1 Spread- 46-33

Monday Morning Thoughts Week 5

NY Giants 27 Green Bay 22 A weird one in London. This Giants defence is legit and the Packers might be in legit trouble Pittsburgh 3 Buffalo 38 This game was over after that bomb from Josh Allen to Gabe Davis. Pittsburgh might need one of those top QBs in the draft LA Chargers 30 Cleveland 28 LA got lucky to get out with the win after the risky 4th down. Jacoby Brissett is not built for game-winning drives Chicago 22 Minnesota 29 The Bears' offence doesn't look that awful but that strip from Cameron Dantzler was insane Detroit 0 New England 29 The Lions' offence went ice cold and the Pats took full advantage and in the beautiful throwback jerseys Seattle 32 New Orleans 39 How did the Saints beat Geno Smith in a shootout? Either way, both teams are in the playoff hunt Miami 17 NY Jets 40 The safety from Teddy B didn't help but the Jets executed on both sides of the ball Atlanta 15 Tampa Bay 21 That Grady Jarrett penalty was just not a penalty and it cost the Falcons that...

Week 5 NFL Sunday Picks

That Thursday night game was the worst football game I ever watched. Even though I won we all really lost. NY Giants at Green Bay -7.5 (London) Packers win Giants cover Pittsburgh at Buffalo -14.5 Bills win Steelers cover LA Chargers at Cleveland +3.5 Chargers win Browns cover Chicago at Minnesota -6.5 Vikings win Bears cover Detroit at New England -3.5 Lions win and cover Seattle at New Orleans -5.5 Saints win Seahawks cover Miami at NY Jets +3.5 Dolphins win and cover Atlanta at Tampa Bay -7.5 Bucs win Falcons cover Tennessee at Washington +2.5 Titans win and cover Houston at Jacksonville -7.5 Jags win Texans cover San Francisco at Carolina +4.5 49ers win and cover Dallas at LA Rams -4.5 Rams win Cowboys cover Philadelphia at Arizona +5.5  Eagles win Cardinals cover Cincinnati at Baltimore -3.5 Ravens win Bengals cover Record Winners- 40-24-1 Spread- 37-28

Thursday Night Football Week 5- Indianapolis at Denver

Tonight on Thursday Night Football we get the Peyton Manning Bowl on Amazon Prime as Indianapolis is visiting Denver. The Broncos are favoured by 3.5 at home in a matchup that is decimated by injuries. This might be one to skip if there was something better to do. Matt Ryan vs Russell Wilson could be an NFC Championship matchup at some point instead they're both going to struggle to make the playoffs. In a matchup of two dumpster fires,  I'm going to pick Indianapolis to win and cover. For what reason, I'm not sure for all I know this game will be a tie. Record Winners- 39-24-1 Spread- 36-28

Top 10 QBs after Week 4

1. Patrick Mahomes Dominated Sunday Night against the Bucs and looks like he's figuring out his new weapons 2. Josh Allen Beat Lamar in a not-so-shootout. But had the final drive to secure the field goal win 3. Jalen Hurts Might be a stretch to jump over Lamar but the Eagles have been so good led by Hurts 4. Lamar Jackson Lost to Josh Allen but it might not have been his fault. Still has had an incredible start to the year 5. Justin Herbert Looked a lot better albeit against the Texans but if this Justin Herbert is back the Bolts will be fine 6. Joe Burrow Thursday night's win against Miami without Tua in the 2nd half but Burrow and the Bengals are showing us glimpses of what they were last year 7. Aaron Rodgers Barely beat Bailey Zappe in overtime. Rodgers needs better weapons but I want to see a little more fight in him 8. Derek Carr Finally got their first win and hopefully, this is could be the beginning of a Raiders run 9. Tom Brady Looked just okay on Sunday night but he ...

Monday Night Football Week 4- LA Rams at San Francisco

Tonight the LA Rams are visiting the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football. The 49ers are favoured by 2.5 at home. The Rams are coming off a win against the Arizona Cardinals while San Fran lost a heartbreaking Sunday Night Game to Denver last week. Jimmy G pulled a Dan Orlovsky with a safety but threw a pick 6 simultaneously. Although the 49ers own the Rams in the regular season I'm going to pick the upset and the Rams to win and cover the 2.5. Record Winners- 38-24-1 Spread- 35-38

Monday Morning Thoughts Week 4

Minnesota 28 New Orleans 25 Will Lutz's double doink in London started off my 4 team Moneyline parlay LA Chargers 34 Houston 24 The Scrappy Texans hung around despite Austin Ekler's 3 touchdowns Chicago 12 NY Giants 20 The Giants rocked the throwback jerseys and Daniel Jones looked fast in them but now has an ankle injury Seattle 48 Detroit 45 Deceptive score Detroit was playing catch-up a lot. These teams seem like they're on different trajectories  Jacksonville 21 Philadelphia 29 The Eagles' defence made Trevor Lawrence look like Urban Meyer Trevor Lawrence again NY Jets 24 Pittsburgh 20 Zach Wilson vs Kenny Pickett was actually kinda fun. The Jets hung on for the 2nd leg of my Moneyline parlay Cleveland 20 Atlanta 23 I'm confused the score said Atlanta won.
