NFL Week 17 picks

Finally, we made it to week 17, and I forgot to make the picks until 1:04. Here we are the straight picks are an easy win but the picks against the spread are going to come down to the wire. Atlanta at Tampa Bay -1.5 Atlanta wins and covers Miami at Buffalo -5.5 Buffalo wins and covers Dallas at New York G -6.5 Dallas wins and covers Detroit at Green Bay -7.5 Green Bay wins and covers New York J at New England -13.5 New England wins and Jets cover Carolina at New Orleans 10.5 New Orleans wins and Panthers cover Jacksonville at Houston -7.5 Houston wins and Jags cover Chicago at Minnesota -5.5 Minnesota wins and Bears cover Cincinnati at Pittsburgh -14.5 Pittsburgh wins and Bengals cover Cleveland at Baltimore -6.5 Cleveland wins and covers San Diego at Denver +6.5 Chargers win and Broncos cover Las Vegas at Kansas City -13.5 Kansas City wins and Raiders cover San Francisco at St. Louis -9.5 Rams win and 49ers cover Philadelphia at Washington +6.5...

Week 16 NFL Picks

Sunday Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers -3.5 I think the Panthers win but it will take a last-second Graham Gano field goal to beat a Falcons team that is just playing for a draft position. Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots -12.5 This game is a lot more interesting than the spread would have people believe. Josh Allen is actually making things happen on the field but more with his feet. I think this will be a close game and the Bills cover but the Patriots win. Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns -6.5 The battle of Ohio should be pretty boring but in the opposite way than usual. The Browns are favored by a touchdown. I REPEAT THE BROWNS ARE FAVORED BY A TOUCHDOWN. I think Baker can win football games but 6.5 is too much for me for the Browns to cover in a division game. Browns win Bengals cover. Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Dallas Cowboys -7.5 The Cowboys are in a tighter spot this week with the Eagles looking to soar back into the playoff hunt. The Cowboys will win ...

Week 16 Saturday games

Crunch time for the picks. I am trying to get picks against the spread to .500 this week. That being said let's get into the Saturday games. Saturday Washington at Tennessee Titans -10.5 I'm taking Tennessee to win but not by the handily 10.5. Future AAF Quarterback Josh Johnson will keep the game close. Baltimore Ravens at Los Angeles Chargers -4.5 The two wild card teams face off in the AFC and it should be close. But the Chargers who I almost called San Diego again with barely cover this spread with the win. My Record  Straight- 141-81-2 Spread- 111-113

MNF Preview- Minnesota at Seattle

Tonight the Minnesota Vikings are visiting the Seattle Seahawks in a matchup of two wild card teams. This is a big game for the playoff push for both of these teams and the entire NFC landscape. These teams are in playoff positions right now but Carolina, Washington, and Philadelphia are within a game at 6-7 respectively and Green Bay lurking at 5-7-1. This is a chance for both of these teams to solidify their spot. Minnesota has had a tough schedule and their final 3 games after this one isn’t terrible. Home for Miami is winnable, at Detroit is winnable, and by the time they play Chicago week 17, there might not be anything to play for. While for Seattle they play at San Francisco, home for Kansas City, and home for Arizona to close out the season. The hot Seahawks can go 2-2 down the stretch while Minnesota is under a little more pressure and are colder. The Seahawks are favored by 3.5 and I like the Vikings in a letdown spot for Seattle at home.   My Record Straight- 129...

Week 14 Picks

The picks are back... Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers -5.5 Falcons win and cover New York Jets at Buffalo Bills -3.5 Bills win Jets cover Carolina Panthers at Cleveland Browns +1.5 Panthers win and cover Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans -4.5 Texans win Colts cover Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City -6.5 Kansas City win and cover New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins +8.5 Patriots win Dolphins cover New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers +8.5 Saints win and Bucs cover New York Giants at Washington -0.5 Giants win and cover Cincinnati Bengals at Los Angeles Chargers -14.5 Chargers win and cover Denver Broncos at San Francisco 49ers +5.5 Broncos win and cover Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys -4.5 Cowboys win Eagles cover Detroit Lions at Arizona Cardinals +2.5 Lions win and cover Pittsburgh Steelers at Oakland Raiders +11.5 Steelers win Raiders cover Los Angeles Rams at Chicago Bears +3.5 Rams win Bears cover

MNF Preview

Washington at Philadelphia is somehow exciting and boring. Both teams are fighting for their season but one team is starting Colt McCoy. So let’s talk about this past weekend. I went 7-8 straight up and 6-9 against the spread. This weekend was the greatest pick I’ve ever made. The Packers were a giant favorite over the Arizona Cardinals and I picked the Cardinals to win but I did not expect Mike McCarthy getting fired as a result. Back to tonight where I have the Eagles winning this game and covering. I don’t know if I’m right but this is just my hope. This is a classic loser leaves town match. And I would much rather a team that could still piece together big wins to be in the hunt with the Dallas Cowboys.

Week 11 Picks

Late night early morning picks. After 10-4 both straight up and against the spread I'm ready to continue the momentum. Especially after the correct Seahawks pick. Dallas Cowboys at Atlanta Falcons -3.5 Classic loser leaves town match for two teams that aren't great. I'm taking the Falcons to win but the Cowboys to cover because neither of these teams is that good. Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens -3.5 My survivor pool pick this week because I tried to not preserve any good teams in good matchups. AJ Green is out and Lamar Jackson is reportedly going to start. That is all I need Ravens to win and cover. Carolina Panthers at Detroit Lions +3.5 Carolina is visiting a Detroit team that looks half alive. I'm ready for another productive Christian McCaffrey and Cam Newton game. Shady MVP candidate in Super Cam. Panthers win and cover Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts -2.5 This division is going to beat up on each other. The only reason I'm taking In...

TNF Preview- Week 11 Packers at Seahawks

Packers visiting the Seahawks is a classic loser leaves town matchup. Neither of these teams is playing too well but they both have an X-factor they need to use. For the Packers, it is Aaron Jones and if they don't use him right they will lose. While for the Seahawks it is also a running back in Chris Carson. If they are both used effectively this will be an entertaining game. It will be anyway but the two running backs add a lot. In this game, I'm taking the Seahawks to win and cover. The Packers are going to have too many bad memories from the 2014 NFC Championship game and they are 0-4 on the road this season. The home crowd will make a difference and the 12th man help lead to a victory.

MNF Week 10- New York Giants at San Francisco 49ers

This game is going to be bad. I'm not watching but, I'm taking the Giants to win and therefore cover ending the thought of Nick Mullens being the greatest QB ever.

MNF Preview Week 9- Tennessee Titans at Dallas Cowboys

This is a really intriguing matchup for two mediocre teams. They are both in similar situations. Clearly chasing to make the playoffs and desperate for some momentum. Monday night is where you’re going to get it. Mariota vs Prescott is even. The Titans defense is better. But they have to face Ezekiel Elliott and newly acquired Amari Cooper. If Chris Johnson (CJ2K) was walking through that door I would like the Titans but he’s not so I will take the Cowboys to win. However, Jason ‘Clapper’ Garrett will not be able to cover the spread.
