2018 NFL Mock Draft
The NFL Draft begins tonight and the fireworks are already being lit. There have been many reports of the trading up and trading down of teams that don't need and Quarterback and are looking to fleece some desperate teams for some draft picks. For now, I will be giving my first round mock draft without any trades so it is sure to disappoint.
1. Cleveland Browns: QB Sam Darnold, USC
As fun as it would be for the Browns to take Baker Mayfield I just don't see it happening. It could be the Browns actually being smart and reporting false reports about liking a player they have no intention of taking to create a buzz and possibly trade down for more picks. For now, Sam Darnold seems like one of the more reliable picks that could sit behind Tyrod Taylor for a year or immediately take over
2. New York Giants: RB Saquon Barkley, Penn State
The Giants look like for now they're staying here. If they do the pick appears to be easy and the best player available. A home run hitter that can add another dimension to this Giants Offense and would be great for Barkley's representation Roc Nation.
3. New York Jets: QB Josh Rosen, UCLA
As tantalizing as Baker Mayfield could be here Chosen Rosen is my pick. The only concerns that have been brought up with him are off the field. He's slick and poise and brings the Cali boy swagger like Aaron Rodgers.
4.Cleveland Browns: DE Bradley Chubb, NC State
Pairing Chubb and last year's number one pick Myles Garrett is a nightmare for the offenses that the Browns will play this year. At this point, Chubb is one of the best available and that's what the Browns need.
5. Denver Broncos: CB Denzel Ward, Ohio State
Trying Replace Aqib Talib will not be easy but Ward is an aggressive corner from the same school that brought you, Marshon Lattimore, last year
And the rest
6. Indianapolis Colts: OG Quenton Nelson, Notre Dame
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: S Derwin James, FSU
8. Chicago Bears: ILB Tremaine Edmunds, Virginia Tech
9. San Francisco 49ers: DB Minkah Fitzpatrick, Alabama
10. Oakland Raiders: OLB Roquan Smith, Georgia
11. Miami Dolphins: QB Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma
12. Buffalo Bills: QB Josh Allen, Wyoming
