Week 7 Picks
Time for a late night early morning picks while half asleep. I don't remember what happened Thursday or if I made a wild prediction about that game. Anyways time to pick.
Tennessee Titans vs Los Angeles Chargers-6.5
I know this game is in London this time, unlike last week. This game is interesting because the Titans lost to Baltimore by 21 and the Chargers beat the Browns by 24. In most cases, I would be all over the Titans but this game is in London so I will take the Chargers but the Titans to cover.
Buffalo Bills at Indianapolis Colts -6.5
This game is really bad and I wish we could flex it to Thursday. Derek Anderson is starting against the wretched Colts defense. I'm going to take the Colts to win but the Bills defense to make a few plays and keep it within a touchdown
New England Patriots at Chicago Bears +3.5
The Bears are coming off a hard loss in Miami and New England is coming off a classic shootout against the Chiefs. I don't know if that matters but I want the Bears to win. Although I think the Patriots will win but the Bears keep it close.
Cleveland Browns at Tampa Bay Buccaneers -3.5
I don't know why the Bucs are favored but I guess they are at home. I'm taking the Browns to cover and win. Baker is better than Jameis.
Detroit Lions at Miami Dolphins +0.5
Brocky Brock was good last week and he's not fooling me again. The Lions need to show up and the Dolphins are in a letdown spot. Lions win and cover.
Minnesota Vikings at New York Jets +3.5
Kirk Cousins and Adam Thielen are good at football and will lead the Vikings to win and cover.
Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles -4.5
The Panthers couldn't show up last week and the Eagles dominated their division opponent on Thursday. I believe the Eagles will keep their momentum and the Panthers will keep it close.
Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars -4.5
So the Jaguars and Texans have the same record and that is kinda crazy to me. I love Deshaun Watson and I will never hide that but the Jaguars have a really good defense and it will be close. Jags win but Texans cover.
New Orleans Saints at Baltimore Ravens -2.5
The best defense and offense get to face off and it will come down to the other units. I will take the Saints to upset and win unless we see Lamar Jackson.
Dallas Cowboys at Washington -1.5
The Cowboys had a statement win last week against the Jags and so did Washington against Carolina. Washington is oddly in first but it makes sense for this division this season. Dallas is in for more of a letdown so give me the Washington football team to win and cover.
Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers +10.5
This game should've been better on paper. Only now it's a double-digit spread. I was right last week about the Rams were unable to cover and I will try it again. The 49ers will cover thanks to CJ Beatherd.
Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs -5.5
Sunday Night Football will be the Patty Mahomes-Andy Dalton shootout. With those two names, I think you can guess who I'm picking. Marvin Lewis and Andy Dalton will fail you when you try to support them. Mahomes and the Chiefs will cover this spread but not with some controversy.
