NBA July 30th Picks

The NBA is back and has worked so far in the Disney World bubble but now the real tests begin. Similar to the football season I'll be making daily picks through the seeding games and most likely the playoffs both against the spread and straight up.

Utah at New Orleans -2.5
I was waiting for Zion news to make this pick and he is playing in limited minutes so I'm still going to pick the Pelicans to win and cover with cautious optimism. 


LA Clippers at LA Lakers -5
This game is not what we should expect come playoff time evidenced by the Lakers as 5 point favourites over the number 2 team in the east. The Clippers are missing Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams which will make a difference come playoff time so I'm taking the Lakers to win and cover even with LeBron and Anthony Davis not playing that much most likely

I'm still not celebrating the regular season until the playoffs are over. This is only for the two Saturday games for now. Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans Even Vegas knows that this is the rubber match of the year. I'm taking Houston to win but Indy to cover the 2 points because these games are weird. Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys Seattle is too hot right now to lose to the Cowboys. Dallas is favored because they are at home and Vegas wants to be safe. But I'm trusting Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson to leave Texas with a victory.
