TNF Week 2- Cincinnati at Cleveland
Tonight is the second week of NFL season kicking off with a Thursday Night Football classic. Two division teams in which we wish we were watching the other two teams in said division play. Joe Burrow is leading his Cincinnati Bengals into the Dawg Pound to face Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns. This is week 2 and already a trendsetter for what could come in this division. If one of these teams start 0-2 in this division is basically a death wish for their season. If either of these teams wants to compete with Pittsburgh or Baltimore they have to win this one. Cleveland is coming off an absolute thumping from the aforementioned Ravens 38-6 and placed their only player with a touchdown David Njoku on the IR this week. The Bengals are coming off a devastating 16-13 loss to the Chargers where Burrow led the Bengals to a prime position than an AJ Green pass interference and a Randy Bullock pulled calf muscle determined the Bengals fate. The Browns are 5.5 point favourites at home and I cannot trust either of these teams so far. So I'm taking the Bengals to win and cover the spread as underdogs because of what I saw in the team last week battling with the lead for the majority of the game. This is really the time for the Browns as they have been the offseason sweetheart for the last few years and they need production against a rookie QB.
Record
Straight: 10-6
Spread: 8-8
