TNF Week 3- Miami at Jacksonville

Tonight is a battle between two classic Thursday Night Football teams as the Miami Dolphins are visiting the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Dolphins are 0-2 after losses to the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills. Two teams that are expected to be in playoff contention. The Jags are 1-1 after a rousing upset of the Indianapolis Colts and a late loss to the Tennessee Titans. The one thing that would make this game watchable was if we had the debut of Tua Tagovailoa against Gardner Minshew. Instead, it's the mustache (Minshew) vs the beard of Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Jags at home are favoured by 2.5 points for this matchup and I think it will be a close game down the stretch depending which version of these QBs we get because it is rarely the same. I'll take the Jags to win but the Dolphins to keep it close and cover the spread. I'm not making any more strong statements after trying to believe in Brees and the Saints on Monday.

I'm still not celebrating the regular season until the playoffs are over. This is only for the two Saturday games for now. Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans Even Vegas knows that this is the rubber match of the year. I'm taking Houston to win but Indy to cover the 2 points because these games are weird. Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys Seattle is too hot right now to lose to the Cowboys. Dallas is favored because they are at home and Vegas wants to be safe. But I'm trusting Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson to leave Texas with a victory.
