MNF Week 5- LA Chargers at New Orleans

Tonight the Monday Night Football matchup is between the Los Angeles Chargers and New Orleans Saints at the Superdome. The Chargers are 1-3 after a week 1 win against Cincinnati and three straight losses to the Panthers, Chiefs, and Bucs but were all one possession games that easily could have gone the other way. The Saints are 2-2 after a week 1 win against the Bucs followed by two straight primetime losses to the Raiders and Packers followed by a come from behind win against the Detroit Lions. This game could go in so many different directions with these teams having both talented explosive offences but also good defences that can contain teams if need be. The interesting matchup has to be the QBs with rookie Justin Herbert who has been solidified in the starters role even with Tyrod Taylor's possible return while Drew Brees is in the twilight of his career trying to lead the Saints back to the promise land. The Saints are favoured by 7.5 for this primetime game and I like the Saints to win but the Chargers to keep it close and cover the spread.

I'm still not celebrating the regular season until the playoffs are over. This is only for the two Saturday games for now. Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans Even Vegas knows that this is the rubber match of the year. I'm taking Houston to win but Indy to cover the 2 points because these games are weird. Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys Seattle is too hot right now to lose to the Cowboys. Dallas is favored because they are at home and Vegas wants to be safe. But I'm trusting Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson to leave Texas with a victory.
