TNF Week 14- New England at LA Rams

Tonight on Thursday Night Football is a rematch of Super Bowl 52 and less recently Super Bowl 37 between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams. The Pats are surging looking for a playoff spot as they now sit at 6-6 following a dominant 45-0 win over the LA Chargers on Sunday and have remained in California for the past few days which will have to come into play for this game. The Rams are coming off a rousing win over the Arizona Cardinals, bolting themselves into a division lead in the NFC West at 8-4. The Rams are favoured by 5.5 in this game and I have learned at least a little bit with Bill Belicheck led teams against inferior coaches.  Not that Sean McVay is a bad coach but we saw everyone call him the wonder boy and the next Belicheck before getting outclassed in the Super Bowl. That being said I'm going to take the Rams to win because their defence is going to be so disruptive for Cam Newton but the Patriots to keep it close and cover the 5.5 point spread.

I'm still not celebrating the regular season until the playoffs are over. This is only for the two Saturday games for now. Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans Even Vegas knows that this is the rubber match of the year. I'm taking Houston to win but Indy to cover the 2 points because these games are weird. Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys Seattle is too hot right now to lose to the Cowboys. Dallas is favored because they are at home and Vegas wants to be safe. But I'm trusting Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson to leave Texas with a victory.
