Tonight on Monday Night Football we've got a partially interesting matchup between the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots in Foxborough. The Bills clinched their first division title since 1995 against Denver and now need to maintain a lead or tie with the Pittsburgh Steelers to hold on to the number 2 seed in the AFC. The Patriots are missing the playoffs for the first time since 2008 when Tom Brady tore his ACL. The Bills have the momentum and the means to continue winning and the Patriots have had a disastrous season and all the signs are pointing towards a Buffalo blowout. The Bills are favoured by 6.5 in New England and I'll take Buffalo to win but the Patriots to keep it close and cover in more of a letdown spot for the Bills. In the final game of the NFL triple-header, we've got the Miami Dolphins going to Vegas to visit the Raiders. Miami is in the thick of the AFC playoff race and needs to continue to win to hold off the surging Baltimore Ravens. Las Vegas is no longer in the playoff hunt after losing last Thursday to the Los Angeles Chargers. At this point of the season I'm trusting teams that have something to play for. In the second game of the triple-header, we've got the San Francisco 49ers visiting the Arizona Cardinals even though the 49ers have been playing at home in Arizona for the last few weeks. The 49ers practice squad is 5-9 which feels like a miracle considering all the injuries San Fran has suffered throughout their year from hell after a super bowl appearance. Arizona is trying to maintain its playoff position with the Chicago Bears nipping at their heels. The Cardinals are favoured by 4.5 at home and I like Arizona to win but San Francisco to cover the spread and keep this NFC West matchup interesting like most of them have been this year. Today in the first game of the triple-header week 16 in the NFL we've got the Tampa Bay Bucs visiting the lowly Detroit Lions. The Bucs are 9-5 and in the thick of the Wild Card race in the NFC and can clinch their playoff spot with a win. The Lions fired Matt Patricia a few weeks ago and have nothing to play for besides their jobs as they sit at 5-9 for the season. Today in the NFL we've got some Christmas day action between the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints. The Vikings had their playoff hopes dashed last week against the Chicago Bears so they do not have much to play for at this point of the season. While the Saints are 10-4 trying to hold on to a top seed in the NFC and have to continue to win to keep pace with Green Bay and hold off one of Seattle or the LA Rams depending on who wins this week. That being said the Vikings have an odd advantage against the Saints winning on the Stefon Diggs Minnesota Miracle and Kyle Rudolph in Overtime in their last two playoff meetings. The Saints are favoured by 7.5 and I'm going the for ultimate Christmas miracle and picking the Vikings not only to cover but win the game outright. Tonight on Monday Night Football we've got a snooze fest between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals. The Steelers are reeling after losses in back to back weeks from Washington and Buffalo. The Bengals have nothing to play for after losing Joe Burrow for the season and sit at 2-10-1 and look to be a punching bag for the Steelers to try and regain some confidence. Although this is a week where we saw the Jets win a football game I can't imagine this miracle continues for bad teams. The Packers are 10-3 and are sitting at the top of the NFC. While Carolina are 4-9 and are a fun frisky team but very little success. The Packers are favoured by 8.5 at home and I like Green Bay to win but the Panthers to cover that spread.

 Today in the NFL we've got an afternoon matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos. The Bills can clinch the AFC East for the first time since 1995 with a win or a Miami Dolphins loss tomorrow to New England. While the Broncos are not playing for much besides keeping their jobs intact. The Bills are favoured by 6.5 in Denver and I'll go with the Buffalo to win but the Broncos cover the spread and keep the game close. Great teams don't care about our cover.

Tonight on one of the last Thursday night games of the year it is a divisional matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders are holding on to their playoff lives by a thread and have to face off against Justin Herbert and the dynamic Chargers offence. The Raiders are favoured by 3.5 at home but I'm going to take the Raiders to win and the Chargers to cover because Anthony Lynn vs Jon Gruden is an unfair coaching matchup come crunch time. Tonight on Monday Night Football is a divisional matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns. Aka the former Browns against the current Browns battling for a playoff spot. Cleveland is sitting pretty at 9-3 while Baltimore is holding on for dear life at 7-5 and just outside the playoffs for now. Baltimore is favoured by 1.5 on the road in Cleveland. I’m going to go with the Ravens as they handed the Browns one of their 3 losses and I’ll trust Lamar over Baker in this prime time spot.

Tonight on Thursday Night Football is a rematch of Super Bowl 52 and less recently Super Bowl 37 between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams. The Pats are surging looking for a playoff spot as they now sit at 6-6 following a dominant 45-0 win over the LA Chargers on Sunday and have remained in California for the past few days which will have to come into play for this game. The Rams are coming off a rousing win over the Arizona Cardinals, bolting themselves into a division lead in the NFC West at 8-4. The Rams are favoured by 5.5 in this game and I have learned at least a little bit with Bill Belicheck led teams against inferior coaches.  Not that Sean McVay is a bad coach but we saw everyone call him the wonder boy and the next Belicheck before getting outclassed in the Super Bowl. Tonight on Tuesday Night Football we've got a matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens are 6-5 sitting outside of the playoff picture in the AFC with one of the easiest remaining schedules. The Cowboys are still technically in playoff contention but the Giants and Washington Football Team have separated themselves in that division. The Ravens are favoured by 9.5 as they look to salvage their season. With Lamar Jackson back in the lineup I'm going to take the Ravens to win but Baltimore still has question marks when it comes to the COVID/Reserve list so I'll take the Cowboys to cover the fairly large spread. Tonight on the second half of Monday Night Football we've got the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers facing off at State Farm Stadium in Arizona. The Bills appear on their way to a playoff spot and prime position for a division crown while the 49ers have lingered in the playoff race despite missing most of their impact players from last year's super bowl run. The Bills are favoured by 2.5 as the road team despite this being a neutral site game. Buffalo visited Arizona earlier this year losing on a hail mary from Kyler Murray and Deandre Hopkins. San Francisco is playing their home games in Arizona for likely the remainder of the season while visiting the Cardinals Week 16. Today in the first half of Monday Night Football it's a matchup between the Washington Football Team and the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers are favoured by 8.5 at home as they look to move to 12-0. Washington and their defence are poised to play spoiler at some level in this game. I'll take the Steelers to win but Washington to cover the 8.5 and keep this game a lot closer than people expect. I'm not in the camp that the Steelers are overrated because they play the teams they are scheduled to play. Sure they have underperformed in games against Baltimore and Dallas but they've secured wins and this isn't college football you don't need a resume to make the playoffs you need a good record. Today on Wednesday Football is a game between the AFC North Rival Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers. This game has been moved almost a week due to the COVID-19 pandemic and now features two teams that we have no idea how prepared they are due to protocols and team practices have done over video calling. The Ravens are without starting QB Lamar Jackson so they will turn to Robert Griffin III who has played in limited bursts for the Ravens during his tenure. At this point who can really predict what condition these two teams are in after almost a bye week of postponements.
