The Falcons sit at 1-6 after another devastating loss this time to the  Detroit Lions and are looking towards next year already. The Panthers are 3-4 after a close loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Panthers are favoured by 2.5 at home and I'm going with them to win and cover. No CMC but the Falcons always disappoint. Record Straight: 69-35 Spread: 54-51

Tonight is Game 6 of the World Series from Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays. The Dodgers lead the series 3 games to 2 after a Game 5 win by the final score of 4-2. The Dodgers are now within one win of the promised land. The Rays are starting Blake Snell in this do or die game who had a great performance in game 2 of this series that led to a no-decision. The Dodgers are going with Tony Gonsolin who has mostly been an opener in this series but Dave Roberts expects Gonsolin to be more than that tonight. The Dodgers are -130 favourites in this game 6 and I'm going with the Rays to win and extend this series to a game 7. Record: 27-25

Tonight is Monday Night Football between the 5-1 Chicago Bears and the 4-2 Los Angeles Rams. The Bears have continued their winning ways following their one loss to the Colts with wins over the Tampa Bay Bucs which looks even more impressive now and the Carolina Panthers two formidable foes out of the NFC South. The Rams are looking to keep pace with the NFC West that is easily the best division in the NFL so far. The Rams will now look to keep up with the Seahawks at 5-1, the Cardinals at 5-2, and the 49ers who are lingering at 4-3. Tonight is Game 4 of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays. The Dodgers are now up 2-1 in the series after a 6-2 win in Game 3 on the back of their potent offence and elite top tier pitcher Walker Buehler. Buehler absolutely outdueled Charlie Morton who allowed 5 earned runs in his 4 and 1/3 inning of work. No game in this series has been close at all. Julio Urias who finished off the Braves in Game 7 of the NLCS will get the start against Ryan Yarbrough who is expected to lead the Rays bullpen charge. The Dodgers are -160 favourites in this one and I'm going to pick the Rays as the teams have gone back and forth to begin the Fall Classic. Record: 25-25

Tonight is Game 3 of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays from Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The series is tied at 1 after the Rays won 6-4 on the back of Brandon Lowe's two home runs effectively ending his cold streak in these playoffs so far. This game was full of chess moves again especially with an off day in between games 2 and 3. The Dodgers are looking to retake control of this series with Walker Buehler starting on the hill. The Rays are countering with Charlie Morton to finish the trifecta of Glasnow and Snell. The managerial matchup and decisions they've made have been fascinating and would be even better if there were no DH at all times. The Giants are coming off their first win of the season in a division game against Washington. While the Eagles fell short of a comeback against Baltimore. The Eagles are favoured by 3.5 at home and I like the Eagles to win and cover as they keep improving and are still decimated by injuries. Record: Straight: 58-32 Spread: 47-44

Tonight is Game 2 of the World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and LA Dodgers from Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The Dodgers are up 1-0 in the series after a dominating 8-3 Game 1 win. The Dodgers rode their stars with 6 strong innings from Clayton Kershaw and home runs from both Cody Bellinger and Mookie Betts. If game 1 showed us anything is that this going to be a chess match between Kevin Cash and Dave Roberts with Roberts having the more talented offensive team. The Rays are going with Blake Snell in game 2 after an okay performance from Tyler Glasnow in game 1 but it's not the last of Glasnow we'll see before this series ends. Tonight is Game 1 of the World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and Los Angeles Dodgers from Globe Life Field in Texas. The Dodgers are -160 favourites for this game 1 and I actually like the Rays to win and steal this game 1. These playoffs have been anything but predictable even with the two number 1 seeds and undeniably best teams in baseball advancing to the Fall Classic which remains mostly normal in this abnormal year. We will just have to see if offence or defence wins championships in this 2020 baseball season. Record: 24-23

Tonight the second half of the double header Monday night is between the Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys. Arizona is coming off a win against the lowly Jets to hopefully regain the form from the first couple weeks of the season. While Dallas is coming off a win against the Giants but did lose Dak Prescott in the process to a catastrophic ankle injury that has presumably ended his season. Although he is continuing to get tested in order to be around the facility and with his teammates. The Cardinals are favoured by 2.5 on this Monday night game and I like them to win and cover but Andy Dalton and the Cowboys are still playoff contenders.

Today is the first of another double header Monday Night between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills. Both teams are coming off their first losses of the season and looking to redeem after an extra day of rest to prepare for the game. The Chiefs are favoured by 3.5 in Buffalo and I like the Chiefs to win but the Bills to keep it close and cover. This could be a preview of a playoff game come January.

Tonight is Game 7 of the National League Championship Series between the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers won game 6 with a final score of 3-1. The Dodgers are on the verge of coming back from a 3-1 deficit and practically eliminate the playoff demons of their past. The Braves are starting Ian Anderson who has had a coming out party in these playoffs while the Dodgers are going with Tony Gonsolin after Clayton Kershaw, Dustin May, and Walker Buehler have started the last three games. The Dodgers are -160 favourites as they look to complete this historic comeback. I was riding with the Rays all ALCS and the Braves for most of the NLCS so I'm sticking with the Braves to win this winner take all game. Record: 24-22

Tonight is Game 7 of the American League Championship Series between the Houston Astros and Tampa Bay Rays. I don't believe many outside of the Astros locker room believed we would be here but they have all the momentum on their side in a potentially historic event. The Rays are -120 favourites as they try to keep themselves out of the record book for the wrong reasons. The Astros are starting Lance McCullers in this do or die game for the 4th straight time for Houston. The Rays are starting Charlie Morton who has been the Rays most consistent starter in these playoffs. Outside of Blake Snell and Framber Valdezthat started last night every pitcher should be available as it is the time where this series is being decided. I'm going with the Rays because I've picked them in every game of the series so why not continue to do so.       

Today is Game 6 of the National League Championship Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves. The Braves are up 3 games to 2 after the Dodgers saved their season with a 7 to 3 win in game 5. Now the Dodgers are going with Walker Buehler to save their season once again while the Braves are countering with Max Fried to try and close out the Dodgers. LA are also -150 favourites to once again save their season. But at this point I’ve gotten the record I have staying with the Rays and Braves which is exactly what I’m going to do again. The Braves win move on the World Series and await the winner of Tampa Bay/Houston.

Tonight is Game 4 of the National League Championship Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves. The Braves now lead 2-1 in the series after the Dodgers absolutely dominated game 3 with an MLB Playoff record 11 runs in the 1st inning. The momentum is now on the Dodgers side after the 15-3 wrecking and an almost comeback win in game 2. Now the Dodgers have Clayton Kershaw starting in game 4 with the Braves countering with Bryse Wilson on the bump. The Dodgers are -240 favourites and once again they feel like the Braves to win and take a commanding 3-1 series lead. Record: 21-19

Today is Game 5 of the American League Championship Series between the Houston Astros and Tampa Bay Rays from Petco Park in San Diego. The Rays now lead 3-1 after the Astros survived game 4 with a 4-3 win thanks to 6 strong innings from Zack Grienke and offence from a George Springer and Jose Altuve home runs. They took advantage of Tyler Glasnow and caught two pitches that were hanging in the zone. The 'Stros keep their season alive one more day and answer with Luis Garcia on the hill in another elimination game. The Rays will have John Curtiss on the hill most likely in an opener role. The Rays are -135 in this game 5 and I'm taking them to win and move on. Record: 21-19

Tonight is Game 3 of the NLCS between the LA Dodgers and Atlanta Braves. The Braves are up 2-0 in the series after an 8-7 win last night in Texas. The Dodgers are starting Julio Urias after Clayton Kershaw was scratched from his start yesterday. While the Braves are countering with Kyle Wright after another outstanding from Ian Anderson. The Dodgers are -200 favourites in this game 3 and I like the Dodgers to win and salvage a game in this series. Record: 20-18

In a surprise twist, we've got Tuesday Night Football between the Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans. The Bills are favoured by 1.5 on the road in Tennessee. We've got two undefeated teams with the Bills at 4-0 after wins over the Jets, Dolphins, Rams, and Raiders who just upset the Chiefs who the Bills play next Monday. While the Titans are 3-0 after a week 4 COVID bye but still have wins over the Broncos, Jags, and Vikings which feels like a year ago. Tonight the Monday Night Football matchup is between the Los Angeles Chargers and New Orleans Saints at the Superdome. The Chargers are 1-3 after a week 1 win against Cincinnati and three straight losses to the Panthers, Chiefs, and Bucs but were all one possession games that easily could have gone the other way. The Saints are 2-2 after a week 1 win against the Bucs followed by two straight primetime losses to the Raiders and Packers followed by a come from behind win against the Detroit Lions. This game could go in so many different directions with these teams having both talented explosive offences but also good defences that can contain teams if need be. The interesting matchup has to be the QBs with rookie Justin Herbert who has been solidified in the starters role even with Tyrod Taylor's possible return while Drew Brees is in the twilight of his career trying to lead the Saints back to the promise land. Tonight is Game 1 of the National League Championship Series between the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers. Both teams have started 5-0 in the playoffs to setup this matchup of the NL's best this year. The Braves beat the Reds in two games in Atlanta to move on to the Miami Marlins in Houston where they swept the best of 5 series in 3. The Braves have been led by the usual suspects of Ronald Acuna Jr, Freddie Freeman, Max Fried, and a surprise in Ian Anderson who had an outstanding outing against the Marlins. The Dodgers have been a juggernaut all year and continued that success so far in the playoffs. They took down the Milwaukee Brewers in 2 games before moving on to Globe Life Field in Texas to beat the San Diego Padres in 3 games leading them to the NLCS. Today is Game 2 of the ALCS between the Houston Astros and the Tampa Bay Rays after the Rays took a 1-0 series lead with a 2-1 win. The Rays responded to the 1st inning home run from Jose Altuve with a Randy Arozerena home run in the 4th and a Mike Zunino single leading to the winning run. Now the Astros are coming off their first loss of the postseason and are responding with Lance McCullers to start the game versus Charlie Morton. The Rays are favoured by -130 in this game 2 and I'm picking the Rays to win once again I think the Astros lack of quality pitching is catching up to them. Record: 17-17

Tonight is Game 6 of the NBA Finals between the LA Lakers and the Miami Heat. This comes after the thrilling game 5 that the Heat won 111-108 behind the incredibly special performance from Jimmy Butler a 35 point 12 rebound 11 assist triple double and playing 47 minutes. The Lakers suffered their first loss in the postseason while wearing the Black Mamba jerseys but still have another chance to claim the title tonight. I'm sure most of the heat is going to LeBron after passing up a contested shot to Danny Green who missed a three on one of the last possessions of the game. This Lakers team is going to live and die by decisions made by LeBron and Anthony Davis and saying LeBron made the wrong choice is just 20/20 vision because if he took that shot and missed there would be a parade of people saying LeBron is selfish and trying to be Kobe. Tonight is Game 1 of the American League Championship Series from Petco Park in San Diego between the Houston Astros and Tampa Bay Rays. The Astros who are the favourite team of every baseball fan right now have had an impressive postseason so far. They extended the Minnesota Twins playoff losing streak by sweeping the 3 game series on the road. They then travelled to LA to play in Dodger Stadium where they beat the Oakland A's in 4 games after impressive series' from Carlos Correa and most of the Astros best hitters. The Rays the #1 seed in the AL beat the Blue Jays in 2 games at home before travelling to San Diego and Petco Park. The Rays beat the Yankees in a thrilling 5 game series to advance to their first ALCS since 2008 when they lost in the World Series to the Philadelphia Phillies. The Lakers are 7 point favourites for this game 5 and I believe in the Black Mamba jerseys that the Lakers will win and cover clinching the NBA Title. Tonight on Thursday Night Football it is an actually intriguing matchup between the Tampa Bay Bucs and the Chicago Bears. Both teams sit at 3-1 after a tale of two similar seasons already. The Bucs lost week 1 against the Saints and now have won three straight against the Panthers, Broncos, and Chargers. Two of those wins are considered successful in terms of opponent, only the Broncos started Jeff Driskel instead of Drew Lock in week 3. The Bears started 3-0 with wins over the Lions in the 4th quarter comeback in which the Lions almost won, then beat the Giants who lost Saquon Barkley during the game. They then beat the lowly Falcons who blew another double-digit lead in the second half, followed by their first loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The Packers are favoured by 7.5 against the Falcons and I like them to win and cover although the Falcons could keep it close but who wants to have faith in that team. This game was moved from Sunday afternoon after Cam Newton tested positive for COVID-19. Now the teams get an extra day of rest and the Chiefs now get to go up against Brian Hoyer and possibly Jarret Stidham. Tonight is game 3 of the NBA Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat. The Lakers have completely dominated the first two games behind the play of LeBron James and Anthony Davis and the Lakers now just sit 2 wins away from claiming the franchises 17 overall championships with 11 of those coming from Los Angeles after the move from Minneapolis. The Heat have a decimated playoff lineup with Goran Dragic presumably out for the series while Bam Adebayo seems as if his decision is going to be game to game. Even if they were playing the Lakers would and should be heavy favourites but those two key players for the Heat make this a much less competitive series mostly on the defensive end with James and Davis wreaking havoc on the Heat zone defence. Tonight is game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers. Game 1 was a complete blowout and Miami appears to now be a shell of themselves after crucial injuries to Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo. Not to take away from the Lakers because they completely dominated game 1 after going down early in the 1st quarter. LeBron put up an impressive 25 points 13 rebounds and 9 assists but was led in scoring by Anthony Davis scoring 34 points while adding 9 rebounds and 5 assists. The Heat were underdogs heading into the series and now likely without Dragic for the remainder of the series and Adebayo out for at least game 2 it is not looking bright for this young Heat team. Tonight is an absolute stinker of Thursday Night Football game between the Denver Broncos and New York Jets.
